Cardiology! I can’t say that this is necessarily as difficult as I thought it would be but let’s hope it stays this way. I’ve heard horror stories about this class.
I’m really looking forward to this upcoming weekend. I’ll be going to another National Leadership Institute with the Student National Medical Association. This week has been really interesting because we’ve had two 2 hour delays which has caused our class to be a lot more condensed. It’s like hemodynamics is cool and then we’re thrown right into EKGs! I feel really behind because apparently we had a syllabus that is not the normal syllabus posted online and I had no idea where to find it. Quite a few other students are lost as well since the guide to our class was so nicely hidden. We’re coming to class believing that we’re prepared and we’re not even close.
As I said, there are things to look forward to but just getting back into the school grind is rough. You get a taste of freedom and then you just don’t want to be stuck in a room studying for 12 hours anymore. What can you do? I’m looking forward to the fact that I only have five months left until boards…. Sounds crazy right? I’m ready to be done with classes. I miss people and I’m really looking forward to getting hands-on experience. 2015 will be tough but I am sure it will be great!
I guess I’ll go study this cardio physiology…Keep me your prayers!
