No TBL, No Exams, and I got to end my week practicing my physical exam skills on the cutest kindergartners ever!
This week started our pretty uneventful and I had every intention of getting ahead on my studying but of course Monday night, instead of studying until 10, I studied until 6 and spent the rest of the evening catching up on Bob’s Burgers episodes! Trust me, if you need a good laugh and you’ve only got 20 minutes, Bob’s Burgers is the way to go!
I woke up to a text from a friend on Tuesday morning asking if he could come hang out since he and his mom would be passing through area on Wednesday. Since they are from the east coast, I slightly thought that he might have been pulling my leg but never the less, I made sure that my apartment was together and I had everything set up for guests. To my surprise, he called Wednesday to get my address and about 6 hours later he and his mom met my lovely turtle Hermie. Apparently he left quite the impression on Hermie, since he hasn’t been the same since he left and he ended up helping out with a really big scholarship application so fingers crossed.
This unplanned vacation from classes this week was much needed. Now to get back to work. T-Minus 2 weeks until school is out! I’m not sure whether to continue my countdown or if I should pray for the time to slow down. I am not ready for the last week of school. There will be entirely too many exams and not enough time in between them!
