I’m getting ready to head out for the reservation and I have to admit, I am a little nervous. I’m not sure what to expect but I know that I probably won’t have Internet access so this should be interesting. I think the stress surrounding this really due to all of the other things that I would love to get done before I go. I have the SNMA regional newsletter to finish as well as the chapter calendar for the year and some loose ends to tie with my other positions. Not to mention, I have a couple scholarships that I need to finish before I go!
In this packing endeavor, I’m trying to get everything I need for 2 weeks at the reservation plus a weekend with my SNMA family and spending time with my family in DC! The $75 total to check bags on each flight is more than I honestly want to pay. This is more than a challenge with dress clothes, fun clothes, and a couple cute outfits just incase my SNMA family decides to hit the town for an evening. I also know that we have to provide our own food for the time that we are working at the reservation hospital so I’m going to try to pack non-perishable snacks for the flight, the drive, and the time that we are there to save some money.
Wish me luck! I can say being good at Tetris and multitasking should pay off over the next couple days… I can’t believe its almost here!
