Creating a Study Space on a Budget

I’ve been moving to a new place and hadn’t had much time or wifi to post. But now that things are starting to settle I thought I’d share my favorite room in my apartment! Because living expenses are cheap in my current town, I invested in a two bedroom so that I’d have a room as my designated office space. I’ve talked about before how I am most productive when I have a comfortable space to study in. I do admit I am a bit nervous for my second year. I know that stress levels will be high due to the fact that I’ll have my first set of boards this year and want to minimize any distractions. Since I enjoy staying home rather than going to coffee shops or libraries, I decided to make this room bright and cozy in order to be more efficient. Also, not having my queen bed in the corner like last year will definitely prevent me from wanting those mid-day naps…but I might sneak a few here and there.? My favorite part of the room has to be my ? iMac! After saving up and some help from my tax return I finally got my dream monitor because #doublescreen life is where it’s at. The rest of the pieces I found on various furniture websites and garage sales so it came out to a reasonable price. Overall I am very happy with the outcome, especially a room where I’ll be spending most of my time studying this year. I am so excited to share this new chapter with you all!
