I normally have a hard time consuming enough water on a daily basis. With it being summertime, I wanted to make sure I drank enough so that I don’t get dehydrated. I recently discovered a fun (and delicious) way to ensure I consume enough water — by infusing combinations of fruits, vegetables, and herbs!
My mom was telling me about a water pitcher she bought that has an infuser tube inside. All you do is put in your flavor combo, fill with water, and let sit! Infused water is not only refreshing and delicious; it comes with health benefits. You get many of the nutrients from the infused mix while hydrating yourself at the same time. There are many different flavor combinations you can try for different results and tastes! Infused water is a great alternative to sugary juices and sodas as well, which helps limit sugar intake. Having delicious water means you consume more on a daily basis, and we all know the many benefits of water in our bodies! For fresh results, I always switch out my infused products every 32-48hours.
I don’t have an infuser, but I have a 24oz cup with a straw that I use for my water. I find that I drink more water when it comes from a straw. You don’t need a fancy infuser or expensive products to enjoy infused water – I just throw everything in my cup and it gets the job done!

- Lemon and lime (tastes like Sprite to me!)
