The financial segment continues as I begin to prepare for medical school graduation and think about how I am going to pay for my loans! I have done some research and spoken to a few people who have gone through the process, so I wanted to share what I have learned so far. As I had mentioned through my last post if you have gotten your loans through Federal Student Aid this post is for you! Through that same organizations, you can either consolidate your loans which means that you combine all of your loans with a single interest rate which is an average rounded up. You can also just leave your loans as is and pay them off accordingly depending on their specific interest rates. Paying them off also has different options. The website I just discovered has so many amazing options and easy tutorials to help you decide. I also recommend seeking help from individuals at your institution or various financial aid organizations designed to help students. What have you found to be helpful in your search to pay back your medical school loans?
