During our fourth-year majority of us are still rotating in different specialties and learning about ways to contribute to patient care. I think that fourth-year rotations are extremely important because they allow you as students to practice your skills and perfect them before becoming a resident. Although the rotations are in specialties different than the one you might be going into, it is still important to learn from it and pick at least one thing that you will be able to use in your future profession. I also find it fun to make relationships with physicians in other professions because medicine is a small world and one day, I might be able to use their expertise in my future practice. Lastly, it is important to have fun and fully engage in procedures that you might not be able to do in your future profession. I am curious to know, what has been your favorite fourth-year rotation so far? Comment down below!
