The interview trail has come to an end and I have learned some important points that I wanted to share with you all to help those that will start the process next year! One of the most important aspects of the trail was having a sense of who you are and what you want out of the program. I can think of at least one person at each program that asked me to tell them about myself and what I was looking for in a residency program. So, make sure you dig deep within yourself to figure out the answer to those questions. Second, have a list of important questions about the program. Although it is a good idea to have general questions that you can ask at any program, it shows your interest and also helps you narrow down what you are looking for in a program. Lastly, do not forget to have fun! You will see new places and meet amazing people so take it all in and enjoy the ride.
