One of my favorite bands, Paramore, describes the post-Step 2 life in this a beautifully eloquent way:
Low Key!
No pressure!
Just hang with me and my weather!
Going from long days of studying and stressing to my post-Step 2 adventures has been a transition I’ve welcomed with open arms. After finishing Step 2 CK on Wednesday evening, I barely caught my flight to Kansas City, Missouri for the American Academy of Family Physicians National Conference. Next, I traveled to Los Angeles to hang out with my sister, uncle, and cousins before taking Step 2 Clinical Skills later this week. I’ll fly home to Maryland for a few days and then back to Albany to officially start off fourth-year! It’s been a whirlwind of a few days, but I’m excited to get back to Albany to start Dermatology and Clinical Nutrition. August will also be a big month for residency applications and wedding planning! :O
