The time has finally come, match day celebration! Given that match day celebrations occurred during the COVID 19 pandemic with a shelter in place order we managed to pull together a virtual celebration like no other. I am also fortunate enough to have a family and a partner that pulled together such a beautiful celebration (with social distancing enforced of course) from our very home. I had my favorite breakfast, right after finding out that I had matched to a program that was the perfect fit for me when I did my audition rotation and interviewed there. I then met my classmates and faculty on a Zoom chat where we all talked about the specialty and the location that we matched into. It was extremely intimate, and I could not have asked for a better way to celebrate with everyone. I know that I was not alone in this process because friends from other institutions had similar experiences, but I am curious to know how your match day celebration went, comment down below!
