Respiratory has started. This year is already flying, look where we are now! I’m so excited because this class is really interesting. Much of the course material that we’ve already seen has come back including the autoimmune disorders and a lot of the upper respiratory diseases from last year so let’s see how much I remember. I had been very nervous about remembering all of the illnesses we learned in POD last year. I see how they’re doing this now! One thing that’s going to be a struggle will be these antibiotics for the simple fact that I really didn’t learn those as well as I probably should have the first time around. I’ll be doing a lot of work on those.
I’m also still trying to figure out how to balance exercise along with school. This has been a lot more difficult than I originally expected but we’ll see what happens! Hopefully, I can just keep things together until May when we begin studying for boards. At that point in time, I can put myself on a strict schedule and there won’t be anything else for me to do except study for boards. I’m extremely excited for what’s to come.
I should probably go get back to studying though. While this is really interesting it’s also pretty challenging I’d rather not get behind. I can’t help but count down…2 months until spring break! Rest, relaxation, and fun are only a few weeks away! My next study break, I’ll be planning my ideal spring break as motivation to push forward.
